It’s been an amazing Olympia Summer Academy 2015!

Promising (under-) graduate students & practitioners from around the world and a faculty at the cutting edge of academic research gathered in Nafplio for ten days to discuss and exchange ideas on various aspects of politics and international affairs.

From 2002 until 2014, the Academy took place at the birthplace of the Olympic Games in Ancient Olympia in Western Peloponnese. In 2015, the Academy moved to Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, and a picturesque seaport town in Eastern Peloponnese where the medieval meets the modern.

This year’s programs were:

  • CYCLE A: Conflict & Political Violence (July 13-23, 2015)
  • CYCLE B: History & Philosophy of IR (July 13-18 2015)
  • CYCLE C: Religion & International Politics (July 13-18, 2015)
