On 23, May 2013, the Navarino Network hosted a panel discussion entitled “Developments in the Black Sea Region”, with the Director of the Harvard Eurasia Security Program, Sergei Konoplyov, and the Director of the Center of International and European Studies at the Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Dimitris Triantaphyllou.
The discussion was coordinated by Dimitris Keridis, Associate Professor of International Relations at Panteion University and Director of the Navarino Network.
Sergei Konoplyov is the Director of the Harvard Eurasia Security Program. He served as Director of the Eurasia Foundation of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova and has received awards from the Ministers of Defense of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine.
Dimitris Triantaphyllou is the Director of the Center for International and European Studies at Kadir Has University in Istanbul where he also teaches International Relations. He was previously Director General of the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) and Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of the Aegean.
