Marina Mavrandrea is a student at the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki (2016-). She participated in many conferences in Greece and abroad. She also works as an Operation Associate at Afixis. Her main field of interest includes International Relations, Communication Strategies, Conflict Theory, International Security and counter-terrorism. Apart from Greek, she is fluent in English and proficient in Italian.

Fotios Kralidis is a student at the Department of Law in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2017-). His main academic interests include Public Law and International Relations focusing on the field of soft politics and specifically on Culture and Religion. He is a member of the European Law Students’ Association and founder of the first rhetoric club in the Law Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Apart from Greek, which is his mother tongue, he is fluent in English and German.

Rafaela Papastergiou has studied History and Archaeology at Aristotle University. She is currently studying International Relations, Strategy and International Politic (MA) at the University of Macedonia. She has organized and administrated many international conferences, has been a fellow of the UNESCO Chair, the Chair of Pontic Studies, the Historical Archive of Refugee Hellenism, the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki and has participated in several training programs and seminars (Intercultural Education and Adult Education).She is currently an Administrative Associate at Navarino Network. Her interests concern European and World Politics and Communication Strategies. Apart from Greek, she speaks German and English.

Georgia Anastasiou completed her internship in Navarino Network during the period December 2018 to August 2019. She is studying at the department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies in the University of Macedonia (2014- ). During her stay in Budapest, through the Erasmus program (February 2018 – June 2018), she studied at the Eötvös Loránd University and conducted a research about ‘The procedure followed for «asylum seekers» in Greece.’ Her academic field of interests includes international relations, international law and migration.

Rebecca P. Mikova is a student at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (2016-2019). She is in the final year of her studies at the Erasmus University College with a double major in International Law and International Relations & Political Sciences. Throughout her studies, she participated in the Telders International Moot Court Competition, Hague Academy of Public International Law and interned at the Earth Law Center and the Erik Castren Institute of Helsinki. She will be part of the Navarino Network team as an intern from June until September 2019. Among others, her main areas of interest include Public International Law, in particular, Environmental Law and Law of the Sea and International Relations. Apart from Slovak, which is her mother tongue, she is fluent in English, Czech and she has basic knowledge of Spanish and French.

Past Intern: Konstantinos is currently a Project Officer at European Schoolnet, a network of 34 Ministries of Education, based in Brussels. He holds a bachelor’s degree on International and European Studies, and has completed internships at Navarino Network and the Permanent Delegation of Greece to UNESCO in Paris. He participated in various simulations of EU Institutions and International Organisations, and organised various events and projects such as the Olympia Summer Academy 2018 and the 32nd National Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament Greece. “My experience during my five-month internship at Navarino Network was, perhaps, one of the most memorable and intense so far. Working together with such passionate, motivated and highly competent individuals made me challenge what I took for granted, broaden my horizons, and helped me further develop my skills in the field of project coordination and communication. NN was a warm and friendly environment, where people care for, and challenge each other. These five months helped me discover what interests me more, my competences, and gave me the tools to pursue my dreams. Working with Prof. Keridis and his team, is a unique experience that challenges your limits, broadens your knowledge, and can prove life-changing.”

Nicki Arela Llangozi is an undergraduate student of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies at University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki. She completed her internship in Navarino Network during the winter academic semester of 2018. Her interests lie in human rights and political behavior. She has attended Erasmus+ training courses, academic conferences and she is engaged in volunteering. She speaks Greek, Albanian, as a mother tongue, English, Russian and she takes ongoing classes in Spanish. Dedicated, upbeat and self-motivated with a strong belief in her life motto “Everything happens for a reason, live it, love it, and learn from it”. “About my experience, I would like to say that it helped me a lot, because I became more professional, more responsible, not only in terms of work but also on a personal level. I believe I learned a lot from my cooperation with the NN Staff, who guided me and helped me to anything I needed. In the end, I met many people from different countries, something that was very interesting and constructive”.

Stavros Romios is a student at the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies in the University of Macedonia (2015-). He also spent a semester in Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi as an Erasmus+ student (September 2017 – February 2018). He will be a part of the Navarino Network team as an intern from March until September 2019. Among others, his main interests include International Relations, Peace Building (especially in the Balkans area) and International Organizations. Apart from Greek, which is his mother tongue, he is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Romanian.
