NN welcomed J. Ashley Roach for a discussion on the “Security and the Aegean.” Captain J. Ashley Roach, JAGC, USN (ret.) retired from the Office of the Assistant Legal Adviser for Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, U.S. Department of State, in 2009 completing 20 years of service in that office, where he specialized in the law of the sea and maritime law enforcement.
