The Navarino Network launched on October 12th a seminars series called “Navarino Mondays”, held in its premises at 3, Apellou Street in Navarino Square in Thessaloniki every Monday.
The first event was the exclusive screening of a fascinating documentary on the dissolution of Yugoslavia ‘Who killed Ante Markovic? Economy of Destruction’ (‘Ko je ubio Antu Markovica? Ekomomija Destrukcije’, 2003) and attracted a large crowd while generating a lively discussion. The documentary by the Serbian independent media outlet B92 tells the story of Yugoslavia’s downfall was followed by a discussion led by Ljubisa Vrencev, Director of the Institute Horizont, Belgrade, and Despina Syrri of the Navarino Network.
